A LETTER FROM HEAD COACH - JENNIFER GONZALES

Dear Lady Wolves and Parents,
I hope all is well with you and your families and you are enjoying your long summer break. Let me start by saying I am missing the game of volleyball tremendously. We had such an incredible season last year. We were all ready to build on that and carry that excitement and competitiveness into this year. Everything seems to change from week to week so if there is any new information, then I will get it out to you via social media.
The AIA has put forth some dates in their plans for fall seasons. August 17th is the official in-person event. September 22nd is the first week for volleyball competition. *Athletes need to be cleared on RANKONE. Only new students need a physical. (Returning students do not need a new one.)
Knowing how important it is to come into the start of the season already in good shape, I have asked that Coach Clay provide some workouts to enhance your physical strength. He has sent workouts that can be done from home. (Linked below.) I would recommend at least 2 days a week from his program. Coach MJ, Coach Jane, and I will be providing workouts, as well. Our workouts will be volleyball drills or cardio workouts you can do on your own. These will be sent out either the day of the workout or the day before. We will vary them from day to day. These workouts will be approximately 4 days a week and would be in addition to Coach Clay’s. Please practice social distancing and be careful with the extreme heat. (If you can do them inside your home, I would recommend that.)
